Avenged Sevenfold are an awesome rock/metal band
that offer music which is quite heavy and very creative, the
songs are often quite long but will never bore you which shows
their quality. Avenged Sevenfold has five band members which
are M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, Synyster Gates, Johnny Christ,
and The Rev and they are also often known as A7X. The name Avenged
Sevenfold is a reference to the book of Genesis in the Bible
with the story of Cain and Abel, with Cain having to live forever
in exile and anyone killing him and therefore ending this torment
would be 'Avenged Sevenfold' which is a punishment that is seven
times worse than Cain's.
Avenged Sevenfold formed when they were 18 years old and still
at school and their first album was Sounding the Seventh Trumpet
which was followed by Waking the Falling. Then there was City
of Evil which has less of the screaming vocals but is still
heavy and has some amazing songs such as Beast And The Harlot
and Bat Country. City of Evil was released in 2005 and is their
